When planning your wedding, it is a good idea to pick your wedding date early, because nearly everything depends on the date.  Catering, videography and photography often fill up their weekends early, so plan ahead and reserve the services highest up on your list first.

Services like large catering companies, florists, and cake makers can often serve multiple weddings in a weekend, but photographers & videographers usually only have one event per day because of a limited equipment supply and because of the highly specialized skills needed to operate their cameras.
