We just returned from an amazing trip to the top of Idaho for Tom & Jennifer's wedding shoot on the slopes of the Sawtooth mountains at the Galena Lodge's Senate Meadows (footage soon to follow).  If you haven't seen a true mountain wedding, then this is exactly what you are looking for.  The staff at the Galena Lodge set up the wedding ceremony in the nearby Senate Meadow which overlooked the 10,000+ foot tall Galena Peak to the northeast.  The small Senate creek meanders through the meadow providing the perfect accompaniment to the birds and wind in the trees.

At the reception, we had the pleasure of dancing (even while holding my camera!) to the Ben Burdick Trio who Tom & Jennifer also brought in from Boise.  Ben Burdick plays a fretless guitar and his band provides a fantastic setting for a wedding celebration.  Check out the Ben Burdick Trio every Tuesday night at the Game Keeper in downtown Boise.
